Our Lady's message January 25, 2025
"Dear children! In this year of grace, I call you to conversion. Place God, dear children, at the center of your life and the fruits will be love for your neighbor and the joy of witnessing, and the holiness of your life will become a true testimony of faith. Thank you for having responded to my call."
Dear brothers and sisters!
Pope Francis has declared this year a jubilee year - a year of hope. The door in St. Peter's Basilica that the Holy Father opened is an invitation to meet the Lord who knocks and waits to be opened for him and to come in to dine with us. In the year of grace in which people received forgiveness of all debts, today the Lord awaits us in the temple - the church for reconciliation and conversion. He is the only one who can forgive our sin. He awaits us as the merciful father of his prodigal son and forgives us even the gravest mortal sin. The son came to himself and realized his sin, his betrayal. The father recognized him, rushed to him to embrace him, to bring him into the house.
The son humbly asked for forgiveness, repentantly told his father that he was not worthy to be called a son because he had lost the dignity of a son and asked to be the last servant. The father's love is greater than his son's sin. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much that he gave us his Son so that no one would perish. This year of grace wants to awaken a return to the Father, a return to the Church, a return to the family and to the Lord's Day - Sundays.
Putting God at the center of our lives is the highest calling here and now. We cannot put God with our idols. Let us remember how Joshua takes over the leadership of his people. - We cannot enter the promised land with the idols of Egypt. This is the moment of our choice. Today, I and my house choose the Lord, we will serve him. - All those present tore down the idols they wore under their clothes. And quickly a great pile of pagan idols was formed. The prophet had the idols burned so that the Jews present would forget them more easily. And the Hebrews listened to their prophet as Christ teaches: - You cannot serve God and mammon!
Putting God at the center of our lives is the call of the Queen of Peace. Today, our Mother and Queen of Peace calls us to conversion in this holy year. Putting God at the center of our lives means cleansing our lives and souls, hearts and entire beings from our idols such as sports and entertainment. Everything is organized to squeeze the Lord's Day out of our practice. All television programs try to postpone family prayer. What is a family without prayer? Prayer nourishes love and protects harmony in the family. Without prayer, the family and the entire society collapse. We are witnesses of this violence among children, among adults. Only prayer can lift us out of the mud. Our Lady says that our prayer brings the fruits of faith, love for our neighbor. This joy in the family, in our work, makes us happy people. Dear prayerful families, respond to the call of the Mother.
This month we will pray for the following intentions:
1. For all pilgrims who bring blessings with their sacrifice and prayer; we especially pray for sick pilgrims who seek the great grace of healing to obtain the necessary grace.
2. We pray for the intentions of the Holy Father Francis, our Pope, for the conversion of Christian families and churches; we pray for spiritual vocations.
3. We pray for all who have not responded to the call of the Mother to accept the grace that calls everyone to conversion. Fr Jozo Zovko

My dear friends in Christ,
For nearly 45 years, Our Lady has been reminding us that we are constantly living in a ‘time of grace.’ This grace is given by God alone allowing the Virgin Mary’s presence among us in Medjugorje, to be that call for us to return to the Father through heartfelt authentic conversion. We must not forget that this particular time of Our Lady’s presence among us, will someday come to a close and She will no longer appear on the earth “in this way.” So, on a daily basis, Our Lady has been emphasizing and appealing her children to utilize this time of grace and turn back to God before events and changes on the earth occur. Isn’t She such a beautiful Mother?!
Now, in this monthly message, Our Mother highlights “this year of grace,” marking the Church’s extraordinary gift to the world of a Jubilee Year. Traditionally, a Jubilee Year is given to the Church to provide believers with a unique opportunity to seek spiritual renewal of the heart, reconciliation, and indulgences, while celebrating our faith together as a universal Church. In essence a Jubilee Year calls us to deeper conversion. A Jubilee Year is a special period of grace. Our Lady is helping us understand that this year 2025 is a “special grace within a grace.” Just as She teaches us with the essentials of protecting and strengthening our personal conversion with the 5 stones, so too She is teaching us to obtain extra grace by following the Church’s instructions and disciplines during this Jubilee Year of Hope. As “Pilgrims of Hope” this year, why not go on a pilgrimage to obtain that extra grace for you or offer it for another? Are you called to a deeper reconciliation with God? With family members? Enter into special acts of Mercy and take a risk. How blessed we are my friends, able to receive a ‘double portion’ of grace this year! Let’s not waste it! Praise be Jesus and Mary!
Conversion calls us to decide for God. Love is a decision that must come from the heart. These days our hearts are easily led astray and we falter. So, our yes to God must be a firm yes! Stay strong! Our Blessed Mother Mary is asking us to make a heartfelt daily decision placing the Almighty God as the first, last and the only point of reference in all our actions. This requires an act of faith. When Jesus is at the center of our thoughts, our focus, and our hearts, then holiness naturally bears fruit. These fruits are those of charity, sacrifice, selflessness, hope and joy. They are easily recognized and felt by others because they are born from within us through the Holy Spirit. Our witnessing of holiness then becomes an absolute joy – and joy is contagious! May this call by Our Lady be taken to heart and put into action.
Let us pray this month for vocations to priesthood, religious and consecrated life.

Our Lady's message, March 25, 2025.
"Dear children! In this time of grace when you are called to conversion, I urge you, little children, to show me your prayers, sufferings and tears for the conversion of hearts that are far from the heart of my Son Jesus. Pray with me, little children, because without God you have no future or eternal life. I love you, but I cannot help you without you. Therefore, say yes to God. Thank you for having responded to my call." (With church approval)
Dear prayerful families,
this is the Lenten time in which we are called to conversion. This is a time of grace, a time of prayer and sacrifice, a time of our return to the Father who awaits us at the open door. Every heart longs to cross this threshold of reconciliation, we long to enter and embrace the Father, and the Mother calls and her voice is recognized by every heart and the Church recognizes it and vouches for Her.
She has come out to the door of mercy and calls us to present to her our prayers, our sufferings and tears for the conversion of hearts that have distanced themselves from the Heart of Jesus and his love. The words “pray with me” reflect the strong maternal love in which she teaches us to pray as she prays, and for almost forty-four years of her school of prayer in Medjugorje. Every pilgrim comes like a thirsty traveler to a spring. That pure water will quench their thirst and refresh the tired traveler and will fill their vessels with water.
The pilgrim in Medjugorje is at the spring of grace. Everyone prays and thus gives to every newly arrived brother to drink. We are all deeply aware that we need others, their example, their testimony of the spring of grace from which we all drink and we are all reborn in the gifts that the Lord gives us: the Sacrament of Reconciliation – Holy Confession, then the Sacrament of the Eucharist, the eating of that bread from heaven that has every sweetness in itself, and that is why she tells us as a Mother: - Without God you have no future or eternal life.
A man without God is torn from his roots, uprooted and dries up. He becomes a dried-up spring, a tap from which no water flows. A man without God is a man without a goal. And his tragedy is that he does not know where he comes from or where he is going. He is a lost stranger among his own.
Therefore, the Queen of Peace urges everyone: - Show me your prayers and sufferings, your tears for conversion. How many mothers do we know who have shed tears for their children, priests who have shown themselves through fasting and prayer for the conversion of parishioners? How many and how long have prayers been held in Medjugorje for the conversion of pilgrims. Our Lady points to them and counts on them, urging, show me your prayers, pains and tears. A man without God is like the foolish virgin who forgets her lamp and oil. Today, Medjugorje can point to millions of pilgrims who have obeyed the Queen of Peace. This power of grace stands in opposition to hatred, wars, disasters and all the delusions of our time. A man without God is always a loser. Like the prodigal son, he lives his error and in the end, disappointed, seeks the way to his loving Father.
The Holy Father Francis, the Pope, has opened the door wide and shown us the Father who is at home and waiting for us.
Europe will not be saved by new, more powerful weapons, but by returning to the heritage of our Church, our faith. Dear brothers and sisters, leave your errors and wanderings, return to Jesus, return to the Church that opened the door of mercy and love of the Father.
This month we will pray for the following intentions:
1. That the family may prepare through fasting and prayer for Easter confession and communion
2. For peace in Ukraine and Russia, for peace in Israel and Palestine
3. For the Holy Father Pope Francis and his health, for all priest confessors, that they may receive us sinners with a great and merciful heart. Fr Jozo Zovko

Our Lady’s Message
July 25, 2025
“Dear children!
In this time of grace, when the Most High permits me to love you and lead you on the way of holiness, Satan wants to entangle you with the cord of peacelessness and hatred. Do not permit him to prevail, but, little children, fight for the holiness of every life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (With Ecclesiastical approval)
Dear prayer family, Our Lady calls this time a time of grace. And it truly is. It is a great grace for every pilgrim who makes the pilgrimage, who climbs Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain and offers their sacrifices and prayers. It is a grace to celebrate Mass in dozens of world languages and immerse one’s prayer and faith in the mystery of the Church. It is a grace to kneel before a priest in Medjugorje and shed the former self. It is a grace in Medjugorje to melt a heart of stone and begin to pray with a devoted heart. It is a grace in Medjugorje to meet the visionaries and their families.
It is a grace to say with an enthusiastic heart in Medjugorje before the face of the Queen of Peace: “I renounce cigarettes, I leave drugs and alcohol”. It is a grace in Medjugorje to feel the Church that glorifies the Lord in all languages. What a grace it is for Medjugorje to feel the guidance of the Queen of Peace. Those pilgrims who are devoted to the Holy Mother show this with their lives, incorporating their whole lives into prayer and the Eucharist. Our Lady warns us about Satan and his activity. When we consider small things, they can reveal a lot to us. Like when it is time for prayer in the shrine and you tell yourself that you have already prayed, so that you can have your coffee during that time. And you abandon prayer. Satan has succeeded. He often times succeeds with a person wearing an unusual outfit or hairstyle. You wander away, leaving behind prayer and the Church.
Our Lady uses the word “cord” for a series of temptations. Saint Francis teaches: if a sparrow's legs or wings are tied by just one thread, it cannot fly. It is trapped. Satan binds every man with the cord of trials and temptations. The hatred that is born in the heart of man is a disease, a shackle with which Satan binds and captures man. Such a heart cannot pray, such a heart cannot hear the voice of God, such a heart has been taken by Satan. Do not let him prevail - warns the Mother.
Dear prayer family, these are difficult times in which bread is taken away from the poor and given for weapons. Satan insinuates and suggests war every day, and war achieves nothing but hatred and death. If humanity does not know how to stop war in their hatred, the people of faith and prayer know: “Stop war with fasting and prayer,” said the Queen of Peace at the very beginning. This time is a time of grace and we should awaken in our hearts the longing for peace and do everything that Our Lady asks of us.
This month we will pray for the following intentions:
1. We will pray for the Holy Father, the Pope, that God may give him wisdom and strength so that the Lord may be glorified in him to stop wars and conflicts between nations.
2. For all young people, and especially for the participants of the youth festival in Medjugorje, to become builders of peace and love.
3. For all pilgrims to receive the grace of healing of soul and body, for the conversion of all. For the visionaries and their families to bear witness with their lives and work.

Dear brothers and sisters, dear friends.
When we look at the world around us today, we cannot help but notice how much unrest there is in the world. Every day we hear news about wars, conflicts and tensions between nations. We hear about wars in the Middle East, about tensions in the Gulf, about so many places where people suffer, where families lose their loved ones and where hope for peace is shattered.
Many people ask: will there ever be peace on earth?
When we look at the world only through human eyes, sometimes it seems that peace is far away. But when we look at the world through the eyes of faith, then we see that God never abandons humanity.
God always finds a way to speak to man. And in our time, in a special way, God speaks through his Mother.
Our Lady comes as the Queen of Peace.
She does not come to scare us. She comes as a mother who sees her children in danger and wants to protect them, wants to return them to God and true peace.
Brothers and sisters,
let me share something personal.
When I first experienced an encounter with Our Lady, I was young. I could not have imagined that my life would take a path that would take me to meet so many people in the world. I was an ordinary young man with my dreams, my plans.
But God has his own plans.
On that day when Our Lady appeared, what touched me most was not only the beauty of that encounter. What touched my heart most deeply was the peace that came from her presence.
That peace was not the peace of this world. It was a deep peace that enters the heart and changes a person.
In Our Lady’s gaze, I felt a motherly love that is difficult to describe in human words. It is a love that understands, that forgives, that invites.
And what Our Lady said from the beginning was very simple.
She did not speak about politics.
She did not speak about the strategies of the world.
She kept repeating one word: peace.
But Our Lady teaches us that peace does not begin between states – peace begins in the heart of man.
If the heart of man is far from God, then unrest comes.
If there is no love in the heart, then hatred comes.
And when this hatred spreads among nations, then war comes.
That is why the wars we see today are not only political events. They are also spiritual signs – signs that man needs to find God again.
Our Lady therefore calls us to very simple things:
to prayer,
to fasting,
to conversion,
to holy confession,
to holy mass.
Someone might say: That is too simple. How can prayer change the world?
But let me tell you something from my own experience.
I have seen thousands of people who came broken, wounded, without hope. People who carried deep wounds in their hearts. And through prayer, through an encounter with God, their lives were changed.
When the heart changes, life changes.
Our Lady especially emphasizes prayer in the family.
She often says:
“Dear children, renew prayer in your families.”
Because the family is the first place where love is learned, where forgiveness is learned, where peace is learned.
If there is no prayer in families, then the foundation of peace is lost.
Another powerful message of Our Lady is fasting.
Our Lady said:
“With fasting and prayer, wars can be stopped.”
These words are very powerful.
The world believes in the power of weapons, in political decisions, in the power of the economy. But Our Lady reminds us of the power that comes from God.
Fasting and prayer purify the heart of man. They open the space for God to act.
Brothers and sisters, dear friends.
When we see wars in the world today, it is easy to feel fear or hopelessness. But Our Lady does not call us to fear.
She calls us to hope and responsibility.
Each of us can do something for peace.
We may not be able to change the political decisions of the great powers. But we can change something that is just as important – our hearts.
We can start praying more.
We can start forgiving more.
We can bring more love into our families.
And then something miraculous happens.
The peace that begins in one heart spreads to other people.
And that is exactly how God changes the world.
Finally, I want to tell you something that I often carry in my heart.
Whenever I see Our Lady, whenever I feel her presence, I always feel anew how much she loves each person.
She does not look at our weaknesses. She looks at our hearts.
And she believes that man can change.
That is why she calls us today:
“Dear children, be bearers of peace.”
May our families become places of prayer.
May our hearts become places of forgiveness.
And then God, through our faith and our prayer, will bring peace to the world that needs it so much.
Ivan Dragicevic
Thank you. 🙏🙏🙏
Dear Friends in Christ,
Lent is a sacred time that the Church gives to man as an opportunity for a new beginning. It is not just a liturgical period preceding Easter, but a journey – a journey of the heart towards God. It begins quietly, with the sign of ashes, reminding us that we are transient, but also that we are called to eternity.
In this spirit, the messages of our Mother, Queen of Peace from Medjugorje resonate in particular, where the emphasis is always the same: conversion, prayer, fasting and peace. Lent is exactly that – a return from unrest to peace, from distraction to concentration, from distance to a closeness to God.
1. Lent as a time of truth
Lent stops us. It removes our masks. It asks the question:
Am I really living what I believe?
Is my faith just a word or a relationship?
In the silence of Lent, we become aware of how many times we have sought security in things that are passing. God does not judge us, but calls us: “Come back. I am waiting for you.” This is the foundation of Lent – God’s patient love.
2. Prayer – the breathing of the soul
Without prayer, Lent remains only an external renunciation.
Prayer is not a multitude of words, but an open heart. It is a look towards Heaven and the confidence that we are not alone.
Perhaps this is the time to deepen personal prayer: the Rosary in the family, reading the Gospel, Adoration. In prayer, the heart softens. In prayer, peace comes.
3. Fasting – the path of liberation
Fasting is not a punishment, but freedom. Through renunciation, we learn that we do not have to have everything, we do not have to respond to every provocation, we do not always have to be right.
True fasting changes our behavior.
Fasting from gossip.
Fasting from anger.
Fasting from indifference to the suffering of others.
4. Works of love – the fruit of conversion
If Lent does not bear concrete love, it remains unfinished.
Maybe it is reconciliation in the family. Maybe helping someone in need. Perhaps a sincere conversation that we have long postponed.
God sees the small things done with love.
⸻
Lent is a journey towards the light of Easter. It is not dark, but imbued with hope. Just as a grain of wheat must die to bear fruit, so too our heart undergoes purification to become fruitful.
At the beginning of this holy time, we can simply say:
Lord, lead me through this Lent.
Cleanse my heart.
Teach me to forgive.
Teach me to pray.
Teach me to love.
Peace and goodness,
Ivan
Dragi prijatelji u Kristu,
U molitvi dolazi mir.
3. Post – put oslobođenja
Post nije kazna, nego sloboda.
4. Djela ljubavi – plod obraćenja
Ako Korizma ne rodi konkretnom ljubavlju, ostaje nedovršena.
Možda je to pomirenje u obitelji. Možda pomoć nekome u potrebi. Možda iskren razgovor koji smo dugo odgađali.
Bog gleda male stvari učinjene s ljubavlju.
⸻
Gospodine, vodi me kroz ovu Korizmu.
Očisti moje srce.
Nauči me praštati.
Nauči me moliti.
Nauči me ljubiti.
Mir i dobro,
Ivan
